Effective date of new limit for components and vehicle body to 62 dB(A) In our previous update, we informed you that with the effective date of the new Environment Act, the limit for certifying all products except the QuietTRUCK will become a maximum of 62 dB(A). Vehicle bodies can also be certified at a maximum of 62 dB(A). After approval by the Senate, the Environment and Planning Act (Omgevingswet) will be introduced on 1 January 2023. Read more »

Update Piek-Keur - February 2022

With the arrival of the Environment and Planning Act (Omgevingswet), there will be other legal noise levels. This is a reason for the Piek-Keur Foundation to think about the future and the noise levels that the Piek-Keur Foundation will use. At the beginning of February, it was announced that the Environment and Planning Act has been postponed by three to six months until October 1, 2022, or at the latest until January 1, 2023. Change in validity period for type approval certificates

The Piek-Keur Foundation will reassess the future of the foundation in 2021. Various social developments such as the Dutch Environmental Act are the reason for this. Due to the review, it has been decided that the existing type approval certificates issued before 1-1-2014 will expire on 1-6-2022 instead of on 1-6-2021. All other expiration dates are not adjusted.
